Amina Shaldarbekova is senior lecturer at the Faculty of International Relations of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan. She holds a Ph.D. in Education with specialization in Higher Education from the Institute of Education, Xiamen University (China). Her research interests concern education policy, private higher education in comparative prospective and higher education institutional development. Her main regional focus is the post-Soviet countries and Central Asia in particular.
