Quang is a doctoral student of the Department of Educational Policy & Leadership, SUNY at Albany. He completed his master program in Higher & Professional Education at the Institute of Education, University College London, where his academic interests budded and he attended and presented at several higher education conferences.

Quang’s Private Higher Education interests include traditional non-profit sectors, the growing for-profit sector and even corporate universities, as well as higher education themes in general. His master thesis sought to answer the question “How do private universities in Vietnam internationalize?”

A newcomer to academic study, Quang has been involved in various youth development initiatives ­and volunteer undertakings. Indirectly these activities have stimulated his interest in higher education in Vietnam.
